Add together or remove your phone number in Letters or FaceTime

You can use the phone number of your iPhone with Messages and FaceTime on your Mac, iPad or iPod touch.

Set upwards your phone number

On your iPhone:

  1. Go to Settings > Letters and brand certain iMessage is turned on. You lot may need to look a moment for information technology to exist activated.

  • If the telephone number you want to remove belongs to an iPhone that you can't access, change your Apple ID password. This will remove all phone numbers from your Mac, iPad and iPod touch on. Calls or messages for the removed numbers won't announced on those devices whatever more.

  1. Open Messages or FaceTime. If asked, sign in with the Apple ID that yous apply with Messages and FaceTime on your iPhone.

    • Go back to Settings > Messages and make certain iMessage is turned on.
    • Tap Send & Receive, and so cull "Use your Apple ID for iMessage" and sign in with your Apple tree ID.
  4. Using the aforementioned Apple tree ID, sign back in to Messages and FaceTime on your other devices.
