How To Register For The Republican Party

Okay I might sound like a moron asking this quesiton but I went to the GOP website, texas gop website and they dont take that info.

I am leaving the country in a few days and want to register as a republican to exist able to vote in the texas primaries from overseas.

I already registered to vote in 04, and didnt selection a party, and so I dont know if I reregister and selection the republican party or fill up a form somewhere to bring together the republican political party?

Idaho, for instance, doesn't crave party amalgamation to participate in primaries, it's what they call open primaries.

Many states have changed their laws subsequently i or both of the major parties lobbied to brand primaries closed. Just, some states still view it as a privacy issue and don't desire people's party membership on the public record.

Texas does not have registration past political political party a voter becomes a Republican by voting in the Republican Master or Republican Primary Run-Off.

thanks, I also constitute it on the general gop site, do I have to reregister to vote, or if yous registered in 04 your set for life, lol.
tin you lot annals online? lol I am getting pissed off because all I want to practise is make full a class and I am registered, but on each site I must go though a maze of data simply to go one answer, and they take horrendous faq'due south, sick but call them subsequently today...
